+ What type of tours do you specialise in?
We offer small-group private Sydney tours with local guides, focusing on nature, wildlife, and cultural experiences.
By avoiding the bus and minibus tours you end up seeing more wildlife and your group will enjoy the scenery and wildlife without the crowds.
+ What are your pick up locations?
As we operate private tours, we can pickup from any central Sydney city location, cruise terminal or Sydney Airport at Mascot.
We can also pickup from outside central Sydney. However, this may involve extra charges depending on the location. We can also drop you back at an alternate location should you wish to maximise your time in Sydney.
+ Can my kids join your tours?
Children 4 years and over are most welcome. Our youth rates apply to children aged 7 to 12 years. If your child is under 7 years old, they will be entitled to child rates, please let us know in advance as we will by law need to seat them in a child restraint. We only carry these on board when notified in advance.
+ Can I be dropped off at a different location?
Of course! If you wish, we can drop you off at any location that is on the way to the centre of the city or anywhere in the central Sydney area. We may also be able to drop you elsewhere. Please ask us if what you want is possible.
+ Will the tour be cancelled due to poor weather?
We only cancel the tour due to weather if it will cause unsafe travels. We will not cancel a tour due to rain. No tour to date has been cancelled due to bad weather. It does not make a lot of difference to the wildlife. In fact, some of our best kangaroo days have beeen when it has been raining slightly.
+ What wildlife is guaranteed?
These tours focus on animals in the wild. For this reason, for most animals it is not possible to guarantee specific wildlife sightings.
However, we do offer a kangaroo guarantee for our Walking with Wild Kangaroos Tour, and a wombat guarantee for our Walking with Wild Wombats Tour. If we do not see a single kangaroo tour on a Walking with Wild Kanagroos tour or a signle wombat on a Walking with Wild Wombats tour, we will arrange to take you on another day.
+ How much walking is involved?
Most walking is on level grounds and the amount of walking can be tailored to your group. This being said, the Walking with Wild Wombats Tour is about a one hour walk through a rainforest. Whilst it is along a man-made pathway, it may be challenging for those who are unable to do much walking. Becauseit is a private tour, this may be skipped if desired. Also, the Parrots and Other Native Birds does have a reasonable aount of walking. However, it is all along flat ground.
+ What photographic opportunities will there be?
Tonnes! There are lots of amazing photographic opportunities on all of our tours. Moreeover, because it is a private tour, just ask your driver and they will be pleased to stop anywhere that is safe and legal to do so and wait for you to get the shot that you want. Also, your driver is always happy to take shots of your group together - just ask.
